The Coalition of Humanitarian Relief Moving a Convey of Relief Aids to the Affected People of “Alshaqb” in Saber Almawadem

On Mon 22nd of Aug, the Coalition of Humanitarian Relief moved a convey of Relief aids to Alshaqb area in Saber Almawadem, the South of Taiz governorate, funded by the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aids and sponsored by the minister of the Local Administration and the chief of the High Committee of Relief Mr. Abdulraqeeb Fath and Taiz Governor Mr. Ali Almamary.
The offered relief aids included materials (food and medical items), coordinating with Shabab and Shabat Taiz to be delivered to the affected people of “Alshaqb” which has faced violent confrontations for months, depraving most of families of getting basic living-items.
The executive manager of the Coalition, Mr. Ameen Alhaidary, clarified that the relief aids offered were food aids in addition to medical materials such as first aids and surgery items.
Mr. Alhaidary has added that this project came according to a response to humanitarian calls made by Alshaqb’s inhabitants, after the lack of living means over there. He also thanked the King Salman Center for its efforts regarding the assistance offered to the affected people in Taiz governorate.
Ms. Reham Albadr, a Social worker and a member of Shabab Wa Shabbat Team, has expressed her thanks to the Coalition of Humanitarian Relief upon the efforts made for alleviating the sufferance of Taiz population who lives in a very hard and difficult economic situation.
At the same time, she has called the Relief and Humanitarian Organizations and the International Society Organizations on paying a visit to the areas imposed by the siege and war, in particular, besieged Alshaqb area which has mountainous terrain.
Alshaqb area, located in the south of Saber Almawadem, has been exposed by violent clashes for months as tens of murdered and injured of civilians were down, houses and properties were destroyed by indiscriminate shelling as well.
